In their own words:
Proudly representing the home nation of Scotland đ´ó §ó ˘ó łó Łó ´ó ż in the UK.
I wasnât able to complete the song Iâd been writing for this yearâs contest, so I delved into the archive and found âStormâ for your delight and delectation. Nothing sophisticated about this one – as I recall, Iâd just got Logic and wanted to try using one of the storm loops in a song.
Lyrics:
Stormy instrumental introÂ
Verse 1
You and I, we havenât talked in such a long time.
I wish youâd tell me how you feel; whatâs on your mind.
This situation canât go on; it just isnât right.
I want to take you in my arms and hold you so tight.
We keep avoiding this.
The pressureâs getting far too much for me.
I think this battle is coming on soon:Â
Chorus
I can feel a storm is coming. We will fight it out tonight.
Come and ride this storm together. Somehow we can make it right.
And we hurt, and we cry,
And we fight and we fight, and we donât know why, yeah.
I can feel a storm is coming. Wonât you ride this storm with me?
Stormy instrumental interlude
Gotta transform; gotta beat this storm.Â
Verse 2
I try to look into your eyes, but you look away.
I really think that we should talk, but youâve nothing to say.
Wonât you ride this storm with me?Â
Middle 8
When weâre together, you can cut the air with a knife.
This is the saddest I have ever felt in my life. In my life.Â
(This storm with me-he-he-he-he-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-he-ee-ee-ee-ee, this storm with me-he.)Â
Final thought, including stormy instrumental outro
I want to take you in my arms and hold you so tight.
