Alright, you've all got to wait until tomorrow for my ALC votes. Boo hoo... I'm dying for you to know.
Anyway, without giving much away, here are my little reviews of all the songs, which I first sent to Harrow along with my votes...
Semi Final 1
------------
Good Result
Whoever wrote this is a clearly cunning linquist, but I couldn't make the words fit, or even work some of it out. And, as Stockport's representative in the ALC, I can't possibly vote for an anti-Daz song.
Best line: "If you give the voters time, they won't dial my line".
Every Song Is A Tale Of Woe
Good effort... I overlooked it completely until I sang it over the original. But it didn't make me laugh, and I thought it was Real McCoy not Real McCall (bloody Davina gets everywhere).
Best line: "Over sugared, till it's naff".
Pissadansen
Excellent... first one to make me laugh out loud. Simple but clever, though I don't understand the significance of the 'judo' reference... is there one?
Best line: "All toilets occupied".
The Tasty Moussaka
It's a catchy one this... ideal for remembering your shopping list. If you're gonna re-use the food theme, make it quirky like this. Do you know if the recipe actually works?
Best line: "Tomatoes; potatoes"
Mmm... Brain! (The Zombie Song)
Zombies again? I have such a rude imagination, I find one line particularly disturbing...
Best line: "Hungry for flesh, hungry for bone".
Gruppe Fur Dich
I'm sorry... I've tried and I've tried to translate it... so wanted to give it a fair chance. But I couldn't work it out... do you have a container for the song... that's as far as I got.
Best line: "Hast du Container fur den Song".
I Want Beans
Another food one... and it's pretty good, though I couldn't get some of the lines to fit the music. Would have got points from me if not for that, and the anti-climactic last line.
Best line: "You might think I'm a silly moo".
Inflatable
He he he... yes, this is at my level. The obvious one's are often the best.
Best line: "The boys all thought I was a hag"
A Little Botox
Alas, I couldn't get these words to fit, or make sense really. Nice try though.
Best line: "And I love dresses by Gaultier".
I Had Sex In A Van
Back on track now... bonus points for getting the word 'rim' in there. What's a G-Zone though?
Best line: "Offered him my ass to rim"
Umladi Meni Porvavol
Didn't really get this one... but this person chose such a hard song to do (I had a go at this myself and failed miserably), I give them credit for that (but no points).
Best line: "The grans and the pensioner clubbers are sewing"
Everything (The Culinary Remix)
I quite like this one... even made me laugh. But it's so unoriginal... I'm sure this person has the talent to do much better.
Best line: "I can't believe there's no chicken"
On Again... Off Again
Bit too close to the original for me... and some bits didn't seem to fit. Only points for one doll song from me...
Best line: "You're a poupee de cire wanna-be".
If We All Pay For Ticket
Proof that you don't have to have a perfect grasp of English to write a good, funny ALC song... in fact, I think it actually helps this one.
Best line: "If we all sleep with Svante"
No Gay Impossible
I'd make sure you lock your doors if I were you, Harrow. I think this is quite clever.
Best line: "Just let that desire rule all that you are".
Pasema
No, you can't do an ALC song in an made up language! (I quite liked what was there though)
Best line: "The sum of points they gave to me was quite unsatisfactory"
Torero
Oh goodie, another rude one. But there've been better, and some of this doesn't seem to fit.
Best line: "Cock-a-doodle-doodle-doodle-doo"
Superstar?
I don't think it really took much effort to create this one, I'm afraid. But it made me smile anyway. A Turkish cow? Blimey, good job they didn't write it about Chiara, or there'd have been trouble.
Best line: "Just milk me baby"
Ugly Girl
No, you can't do an ALC song for an instrumental! (I quite liked what was there though). Should have called her an Irish cow instead of an ugly girl.
Best line: "I'm the mouse in the back"
I'm Not Afraid Of My Nose
Now this one is really weird... bogeys! Nice and childish... just missed out on some points from me.
Best line: "Worry to see, if it's gone, hand inside"
Hertz
This is a very polished, professional ALC entry. Made me laugh a lot. This has to make the final.
Best line: "The ashtray had a condom"
Barbie & Ken
Funny how the draw brought out two Swedish based entries together... this one isn't as good as Hertz, but it's still got a couple of giggles in there.
Best line: "Try to undress me, there's nothing there to see, there underneath"
A Song On Speed
This one's better played with the video of Nicole's performance, not just the audio. And I always thought it sounded like "I see heathers on my sleeve" too... so I'm jealous I didn't write this.
Best line: "I see rabits (sp?) counting sheep"
Yay For Free Language
Yes, all the best one's are drawn together. Fourth one on the trot to get points from me. This is so funny... but aren't they the real lyrics? Classic... I know I'm easily beaten by this.
Best line: "Randy goat, desperate to reach to reach new whore? Aye, sons"
Elena Anthem
Sorry, but this seemed like a reject from last year... when Elena was nearly as popular as Chiara.
Best line: "I'm not scared of drops, it rains a lot in Sweden"
Mr A.
I think this is better than the other Tornero entry in this semi... but I'm hoping for better in the other semis (for my super-clever brain tells me that there will be others).
Best line: "That you offend a lot of people on the board"
Semi Final 2
------------
Addicted To Glue
Doesn't do much for me, this one, I'm afraid... I just don't think it's very inventive.
Best line: "The reason why it's hard: I'm so addicted to glue".
The Choice
Aw, poor Eimear. Made me chuckle, mind.
Best line: "I am the bitch in a dress of high quality".
The Factory
Are weak bladder's a common compaint for MBers, then? Good effort, but poor first (doesn't make sense) and last (doesn't fit) lines hurt it.
Best line: "Cheap labour, that is me, I need a break to pee".
We Can't Live Without Neighbours
When I saw the title during the draw, silly me thought it might be all about an certain Australian soap opera... doh! I like the satire in this. Best one so far.
Best line: "And just who of us, yes who of us is getting the douze?".
Brokeback Twist
Funny, yes, and good concept and theme. But some of the lines are little awkward, which is a shame... can't give points.
Best line: "Didn't fancy Fanny, or fannies at all"
My Monobrow
Can't put my finger on it, but this didn't really do anything for me. The title made me smile though.
Best line: "Should I wax, should I not, my monobrow".
Please I Need Help
Doesn't rhyme, does it?
Best line: "Lost my weight, and my wage, my home!".
Soulless
Oooh, arty. Clever. No points.
Best line: "It's lewd, it's lewd."
I'm No Stickler
This one's of particular interest to me, as I've got my own version of Moja Stikla in the third semi. I spent hours trying to think of something to rhyme with Stikla... never even thought of Stickler! Works well, I think... reminds me of the Spitting Image Chicken Song (if you remember that). I think my line of 'Europa, poop-scooper' is better though, so we'll have to see which does better.
Best line: "Tell your Aunt you want her in her bed".
Infallible
Carola gets it again... jolly good.
Best line: "And when I get maligned, I go out of my mind."
Sense A Two
Ho ho. Unfinished, is it? Well, the number of "bla"s is wrong. So there.
Best line: "Bla bla bla bla bla"
Di Di Da
I think that's an original idea, isn't it, put the words to old song to a new one? Very ironic, very clever, methinks.
Best line: "Oompah loompah, oompah loompah sing"
Je-t'a Dollelujah
Don't want to be bigheaded... but I personally still think Hard Cock was better that this. Sure this'll get more points though... it's pretty well written, and it uses the ole standard ALC gimmick of naming as many MBers as you can... how can it not do well?
Best line: "Done 6 rehersals but I'm far from prepared"
I Sue
Good, this needed to be said, and it's said well here.
Best line: "Turning up the dryer's heat, does it smell like meat"
I'm A Whore
Hurrah, someone can write dirtier lyrics than me! I'd have given this douze if it all fitted perfectly, but there's a few too many syllables in some lines...
Best line: "Don't be afraid if it's sore, take a condom from the drawer"
Llama
Only in ALC will you find songs about prostitution and beastiality nestling happily together. This made me laugh a lot.
Best line: "Want to stroke your sweet angora"
McCauls
This is one where the lyrics fit the music perfectly, it's funny, witty... can't fault it. Why're all the good one's together again?
Best line: "You should know you ain't no f*cking stars, and you're this far, only cause the Irish are quite bizarre"
Eyeshadow
Well, fair enough. On the whole, it fits nicely and rhymes... just doesn't seem to push any buttons.
Best line: "It makes me look pretty as I scream out my song on the stage"
Songs Like This
I'm British. Didn't like singing it. Cuddly wren? Skimpy vest? Eh?
Best line: "From Malta we'll get eight and Ireland will give ten"
Je T'adore
Blimey, I thought Ugly Girl wouldn't be beaten for least lyrics in ALC. Put some effort in, guys!
Best line: "Ah bein, zut alors"
My Darling
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to turn the silly Israeli entry from 2000 into a tender love song. Full marks for that. But none for ALC.
Best line: "But when I open them you're not there, I'm distraught"
Total Plagiat
Is this the first ever ALC entry about ALC? Well, I think whoever wrote this deserves some kudos.
Best line: "To the Tesco, from whence it has come"
Generacija 1642
Absolute masterpiece... brought life to an old song that had passed me by.
Best line: "The sad old nostalgic fans"
A Little Piece
Well, it's not very original... Take Me To Your Clinic anybody? But I don't mind, cause it's pretty well written, and made me laugh.
Best line: "What's this nipple on my cheek?"
Promotour
Very clever, very good... but I take marks off for the last line... tut tut tut. Should be Stockport.
Best line: "Wasting all their cash in hope of some votes"
Mr ESC
I thought Johnny Logan was Mr ESC... can't imagine him in a dress.
Best line: "Should I have shaved my beard"
Granny On Speed
Lots of plastic surgery in this semi, huh. Although this is quite good, it has more wrinkles than the others - see what I did there... wrinkles, plastic surgery. ;-).
Best line: "Doctor boobjob me"
Semi Final 3
------------
My Wind Machine
Good joke, but it doesn't really extend to a full song. Some bits don't seem to fit, and it doesn't rhyme.
Best line: "This love tonight - electrical".
Food
That's made me hungry, that has. Unfortunately, the repeated food items (pair of pineapples, bunch of grapes...) show that the diet is not varied enough to be healthy.
Best line: "Chocolate bars and beefy brew... pot!".
Water Polo
Ungentlemanly, unsporting conduct.
Best line: "Wearing my speedo, you can see my tool".
Bla Bla
Oh, such a shame we had Llama before. Can't see past it.
Best line: "You beg me all - some comprehension".
One Point
It is rubbish, crap and shameless... but I can't turn down an appeal for a single ickle point. That'd be mean.
Best line: "Give me at least one point, and I will give you two"
Chow Mein
Surreal. Like ones which sound like the original, even if it's mad... it's what I tried to do with Mucky Puppy.
Best line: "If England's famous for something, it's soap-on-a-rope".
He's The Host
ROFL! I bet you love this one, Harrow.
Best line: "Loves the grind, sixty nine".
Let Me Dry
Buy a dishwasher... much easier on everyone.
Best line: "I adore the plates, let's stay best mates".
I'm Into Porn
I normally like rude ones... but there doesn't seem to be much humour in this one.
Best line: "I'm in your dreams, that's why you came".
Not a Mr Nobody
"Scarring people badly" is 6 syllables. "So badly" is 3. Too much, too much, too much, I say.
Best line: "Bruno, you're freaking me"
Every Song Is A Irish Dirge
Highly unoriginal - but it's very well written
Best line: "Dana in a gimp mask, Linda Martin in a basque"
Why Do The Cypriots Cry?
Highly unoriginal - and not so well written
Best line: "Was it because the song was shite"
Kathmandu
(You) can't just put unsung words in brackets just so it makes sense.
Best line: "Suddenly contracted lice"
Let's Get Fat
Rule 1 of ALC: Don't use the word 'fat', or you could find yourself in trouble. I learned that last year. So must the author of this.
Best line: "Eating puddings is not a crime"
My Grand Prix
Bravo... it's so hard to fit the word Eurovision into a song and not make it seem forced. Much respect.
Best line: "And now she just looks like a transvestite slut"
We Give You Farts
Yes, nice and childish. Just not funny enough, I'm afraid.
Best line: "It's easy just eat some very strong cheese"
Strangled
We all love Carola, don't we.
Best line: "And I have confidence that one day you'll be cured"
Gay-Teen Life
That's the first ALC entry this year that's brought a tear to my eye. I want to hug whoever wrote it.
Best line: "Sipping gin with ice, 'her only vice'"
Super Troll
Yes, yes, it's obvious... but it works, I think.
Best line: "I'm here to piss you off"
Save The Pigs
Hang on a minute... is this a veiled 'fat' attack on Jenny?... ah, who cares... it's bloody funny.
Best line: "My big sisters are ham with fries, super sized, bacon pies"
Toblerone
No! Damn you all, making me relive my past crimes! (I so wish I'd wrote this one)
Best line: "My angel, the one that I love, why'd you go away"
High
The story of my life... told you Jonas was right about his guess about Hard Cock's author.
Best line: "I get no sex, it's too complex"
If You All Gave A Little
Can't make this fit. Sorry.
Best line: "Of flesh and skin, or butt you know"
You Say I Pong Again
Nurofen's a painkiller... not a toiletry... but maybe that's not a mistake.
Best line: "And I look like Cybil Fawlty from afar"
Harrow Harrow
Ah, now I know why none of my songs got a good draw... I mean, 3, 6 and 9... I'm as unlucky as Austria. ;-)
Best line: "There ain't no doubting that Dan Harrow is the best"
Seigel
No chiara-angel!
Best line: "I'll bring you victory without wearing thongs"
Direct Finalists
----------------
We've Got No Lubricant
Well, it's quite funny... but there're too many contrived euphemisms (dart, batter, ships and bays) to get any points from me.
Best line: "Ask me why the shops close at freakin' nine".
ALC Nation
How clever... this one must have been really hard to write.
Best line: "Or stripping Croatians".
Forgotten
One single funny idea made to stretch too far... and will get forgotten when the votes come in, I'm afraid.
Best line: "See, you've already forgot".
Paranoia
I thought the first two verses were some big political statement about Israel... then realised I was just paranoid. He he.
Best line: "Moderators deleted my thread"
2" Long
It made me laugh... I love a good cock song. I'd like to see more hard cock in ALC.
Best line: "I've been a faker, yeah, to hide I'm insecure".
Mr Dwarfbody
I suppose it's inevitable that the success of a certain dwarf sex song last year would lead to a gay dwarf sex song this year.
Best line: "Face down, biting on your pillow".
La Sophie Carle
Very funny bridge and chorus. The repetition of the 'put' to get the syllables right is a bit lazy though, isn't it? If it was 'Please put...', I'd have given more points.
Best line: "Eh-oh, Sophie Carle, XXL, Gemma-Jemini".
La Vache Qui Rit, C'est Moi
Babelfish... oh here babelfish... is this song all about cheese?
Best line: "Moooo"
Look At My Bum
Chuckle... yes, this one's quite funny. Another chocolate one.
Best line: "Look at my bum, it is so full of air, that any day, I'll float away".
Rafael
Unfortunately, some bits seemed a bit awkward to me... which is a shame, cause there are some excellent bits.
Best line: "I'm the joke of the messageboard, Barbara Dex Award"
So, if you can guess where my douze is going... you'll find out tomorrow. :-)
- LOL @ "Irish cow"! Now to read the rest... [R] - Yair - 2006-08-10 9:26:30pm
- (Great) reading, Chris! :) [R] - Yair - 2006-08-10 9:45:22pm
- Excellent comments - re ESIATOW - It was a play on words for 'Real McCoy, I just spelt McCaul wrongly!! [R] - David in Hull - 2006-08-10 9:29:58pm
- Ah, I see now... should have worked that out, shouldn't I. [R] - ChrisMcr - 2006-08-10 9:32:35pm
- I agree with a lot you say Chris! Pity you couldn't review your own songs! So here goes: - David in Hull - 2006-08-10 10:02:57pm
Hard Cock From Viagra
Hilarious. Great use of language. But Oh the guilt. I actually tactically voted and downgraded my points for this song (it made no difference as it turned out), only because I was sure it would qualify in a strong semi.
Favourite lines:
Striking down my impotence flaw and
My jap eye is red
Really Really Gay
Not my style of humour - sorry. But the phrasing was excellent!
Favourite line:
Look like a silly billy with your dancing
Mucky Puppy
I think I wrote something like when casting votes 'Toilet humour was over for me 30 years ago - but still very witty'
Favourite line:
Shits, shits, dribble down his arsehole
- Very interesting read, Chris! - Frank - 2006-08-10 9:50:59pm
I even seem to tend to agree with it quite a lot (even though I don't like rude lyrics as much) :)
No, ALCnation wasn't easy to write as the melody doesn't give you much room to fit things in and it has some very definite stresses, that limit you even more. But what's life without a challenge? :)
- I think i have found the 3 out of 4(?) people who - orionas - 2006-08-10 9:55:53pm
voted for I'm a whore! It must be you, Jeremy, Aviad and maybe Javi?
BTW a great review no matter if i agree or not! Good things should be acknowledged! I guess it took a lot of time to write all these!
- There were 6 (and 1 non-participant), and that's the only clue you're getting :) [R] - Harrow - 2006-08-10 9:57:54pm
- Absolutely great review!!! (And I got a ROFL) :-))))))) [R] - Jeremy - Mouss'd Paranoid Pig - 2006-08-10 10:18:15pm
- Actually the idea of connecting "Sense tu" with pigs DOES have to do with Jenny being fat, but not directly... - Jonas - 2006-08-11 2:00:14pm
Myself I don't think she's that fat really... she's big, sure, but she's no Joy Fleming. Besides, I don't usually find jokes about people's weight very funny...
Anyhow, this spring there *was* a lot of people who compared Jenny with a pig. Not only because she's a little bit chubby, but also because there's something in her face, and because last year Marian van de Wal recieved the nickname EL CAVALL (The horse), so Jenny was bound to get an animal nickname too... and the inventors of EL CAVALL (not me) invented EL PORC (the pig).
And that's what gave me the idea :)
- Arty - yay! Clever - yay!!! No Points - Booooo!!!!!!! but thank you for the compliments...... [R] - Niall@work! - 2006-08-14 3:42:49pm
- Now to our participants: ChrisMCR's really really gay votes... - Harrow - 2006-08-11 5:02:45pm

- Yay For Pete D's Votes :) - Harrow - 2006-08-11 5:59:13pm

After 26 voters 17 entries have gotten a douze. Pigs got 4, Hertz, Inflatable, Speed and the Puppy each got 2 (I hope I counted those right!)
Most supporters is a trie-way tie between My Grand Prix, Llama and Paranoia (15 each).
Avg points for Semi 1 entries is 65.7, Semi 2 60.3 and Semi 3 leads with 71.7.
Only 32.2 for direct finalists.
Avg number of points is 53.9 now and 9 voters.
your ALC-freak
- Wow@direct finalists points! Astonishing. Thx for the info :-) [R] - Jeremy - Mouss'd Paranoid Pig - 2006-08-11 9:24:48pm
- Was probably a lot less before Jonas voted, he was really generous to direct finalists [R] - Yair - 2006-08-11 9:26:04pm
- Indeed. I wasn't :-) [R] - Jeremy - Mouss'd Paranoid Pig - 2006-08-11 9:26:59pm
- Booooo! We don't need you. We have Jonas :)) [R] - Yair - 2006-08-11 9:35:14pm
- ... and the very best day for the wonderful "Vache". Thanks to all voters, great job! [R] - Thomas Moooooo-ssaka! - 2006-08-11 11:47:23pm
Oh no! My first "pointless" day in the ALC voting.

Is there a Mr. Sartre on the MB?
- Always remember the old Swede spreading his wisdom in 92! [R] - Frank - 2006-08-11 11:44:02pm
- LOL! A moron is another trog? [R] - Richard_CT - 2006-08-11 11:48:27pm
- Yes, quite the Shakespeare he was! :) [R] - Frank - 2006-08-11 11:51:57pm
- Damn, I wish I hadn't posted that quite so quickly... - Richard_CT - 2006-08-11 11:55:43pm
... think I could make an ALC lyric out of "A moron is another dog," at least!
But that's okay.... I'm only one chorus away from completeing the first of next year's entries, and it doesn't involve beer, Celine, food or failure.
Just a little interesting and pointless fact about my votes...

OK, I promised to post comments....it will follow later on... I guess :)
BUT!
My top 10 went toe xcactly the same people as olast year. My 12 to Rich and my 10 to Frank, JUST like in 2005. Isn't that funny? :))
We must be ticking some boxes right :) - Frank - 2006-08-12 2:56:25am
I got high votes from you in 2004 too! And I usually end up returning those votes in semi or final :)
Now get those comments ready, mine are for tomorrow :)
Some late comments to my votes from last night :-)

1 point - Mr Dwarfbody
No idea why this is doing so bad. I found it well-written and also quite funny.
2 - Paranoia
It is indeed full of some rather internal things, and many of them I wasn't part of or cannot remember, but still.., it shows that it's a pro who wrote it :)
3 - La Sophie Carle
The chorus is just *so* infective :) Don't really remember the verses, but I keep bursting out "Eeeeo, Sophiiiie Carl" at the strangest moments ;)
4 - Really really gay
One of the smartest approaches word-wise in this ALC. The title on it's own is a big laughter, and the rest of the song doesn't dissapoint :)
5 - Generacija 1642
And now we're approaching those songs that I would all want to give high points to, but couldn't.
This one's really smart and it's hilariously funny considering that there's many MBers that this fits with ;)
6 - Harrow, Harrow
Also a smart way to place with words, and it's not just a smart title but the rest of the song is also really great once you sing it with the song.
7 - The Tasty Moussaka
Perhaps not the msot well-written one lyrically. Sometimes things are difficult to fit, but it's also a very original idea (just to pick that song to write to is!) and it's also one of those I find myself singing at strange points ;)
8 - La vache qui rit, c'est moi
First I just thought "What the hell? Someone writes a lyric in french and thinks anyone's gonna like it?!", but then I read it and realised how brilliant this is :) I mean, one doesn't have to understand a word of french to understand this, one just has to familiar with the brand "La vache qui rit". Guess not everyone is, since it's doing so bad though.
10 - ALC Nation
Brilliant! Nothing here is left half-done, it's truly professional. It's just what an AL should be like (except maybe the theme, it only really works once - this time).
12 - Look at my bum
Even mroe brilliant! I kept lauyghing all the way through this song. Not only is it funny, but it matches the melody perfectly, and I like the fact that it keeps changing every time the chorus comes. And the intro line "Hi doctor, me again - I gained a kilogram" is perfect ;)
So, as you can see, I definatly preferred the direct finalist entries to those who came from the semi-final. My top 3 were finalists, and 6 out of 10 in my top 10.
This is probably simply because my favourites in the semi's didn't go through.
I suppose now I should be allowed to talk about my votes in the semis.
In the first my 12 went to "Mmm...Brain!", in the second to "Generacija 1642" (which did get through though) and in the third to "Bla bla" :) Also none of the entries I gave 10 to got through.
- Cool :)) [R] - Yair - 2006-08-12 10:37:26am
- So the la vache qui rit is the laughing cow?! Now it makes more sense :) [R] - Harrow - 2006-08-12 12:13:47pm
- It even said that in the song, didn't you read through? :) [R] - Yair - 2006-08-12 12:28:16pm
- Luke's inflatable votes... - Harrow - 2006-08-12 5:00:04pm

- And here's some comments, copied and pasted - Frank - 2006-08-12 7:42:49pm
First of all, I have some stubborn ideas about what makes a lyric a good one. Themewise I like them to be a bit universal, so I’m usually not too keen on lyrics that go for a certain following only (sex/porn ones eg). And technically I get very idiotic about things like fit, rhyme and stress. Unfortunately quite a number of my favs got lost in the semis, so that narrowed the choice to :
1 Point - Everything (culinary remix) The whole theme and approach is done before, but it has definite merits in the writing, for which it should be rewarded
2 Points – McCauls A perfect fit, good rhyme and a good flow. A skilled person at work, obviously. But the subject is a bit last year, which is a bit of a shame.
3 Points - The tasty Moussaka After all the food-related ALs, a cooking menu was long overdue. This one is cleverly done, well written, flows and fits well and has good rhyme with some genius moments at times even. It’s just that it gets a bit long towards the end and has trouble keeping the momentum, but so has the song. Still a classic effort
4 Points – Rafael. I had no idea who Rafael might be, but in spite of it, the lyric still made sense. A solid approach to the failure-theme with some clever turns.
5 Points - Mucky Puppy Maybe a bit too direct for my taste, I’m not a fan of explicit language at all. But I certainly enjoyed the use of similar sounding words and the way it fits the melody.
6 Points - Gay-teen life Surprisingly good fit on a song that makes fitting a challenge. This isn’t a fun lyric, it’s actually quite sad a subject, but that’s what makes it stand out
7 Points – Llama Quite simply, a school example of how things should be done
8 Points - La vache qui rit Different, to say the least. And daring! Again a great piece of handy work, technically for sure and with extra points for the artistical merit.
10 Points - Save the pigs A classic! Great fit, clever, witty and endeering
12 Points - Hertz A classic in the story-telling tradition, which was very succesful last year. Extremely clever at times, extremely witty all along and extremely well done and well written.
- Nice comments Frank - but I don't want to know what you wrote about the non-qualifiers :-) [R] - [PL]TV HERTZoD - 2006-08-12 7:50:50pm
- Ooooooo....this one I'll save :-))) [R] - Jeremy Loves The Nicoles! - 2006-08-12 7:58:31pm
- Thank you for the kind words Frank....and the points!! [R] - David in Hull - 2006-08-12 10:39:29pm
- You're welcome, they're well deserved :) [R] - Frank - 2006-08-12 11:04:34pm
- Not 2 Long to wait for Timoteus' votes... here they are! - Harrow - 2006-08-12 7:59:30pm
- Congratulations Paul Roger and Frank [R] - orionas - 2006-08-12 8:01:24pm

- And LOL @ the intro. Timo, are you going to give us winning chances? :) [R] - Yair - 2006-08-12 8:13:39pm
- Both even?? Thanks! And congrats PoLle and Roger Carle! :) [R] - Frank - 2006-08-12 8:08:15pm
- Congrats Paul, Roger and Frank! Go Moussaka! ;) [R] - Jortsu - 2006-08-12 8:15:25pm
- Wooooaaaahh!! Thank you Timoteus!! Grand Grand Grand (prix) in the Three Digits!!! [R] - [PL]TV HERTZoD - 2006-08-12 8:19:16pm
- It's btwn eggplant and pig now. Go EP!!!! :-))) [R] - Jeremy Loves The Nicoles! - 2006-08-12 8:24:27pm

Hello everyone! I came back from my minivacation today and haven't had a chance to look at the ALC voting until now and...
Corinne He... I mean, La vache qui rit in the top 10? TOP 10 !?!
Since it's in french, I was expecting a result somewhere in the bottom 5, and with any luck I thought I might maybe get some 30-50 points. But but but...
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to ALL of you for your points!
Thomas, I knew that your love for me was real, even if youwere thinking on somebody else! =))
And thank you also Alex, Laura Malice, Niall, Paschalis, Pete, Richard, Nick, Jonas, Luke, Aviad and Frank!
I'm so happy now! I don't care if I get no more points and even slide to the bottom five, I've won one gold and three bronze!!! =))) I'm so going to enter next year, and beware, I promise an even weirder and different song then!!!
- Well done, young man, and keep being different!!! [R] - Frank - 2006-08-12 10:26:17pm
- Hmm, I got a gold and three bronze too when I think of it! But no silver in sight. Tsk :) [R] - Yair - 2006-08-12 10:29:36pm
- I've never got any medals at all :-) [R] - Jonas - 2006-08-12 11:33:19pm
- 5 gold, 5 silver, so far, Mr Pigsaver :)) [R] - Frank - 2006-08-12 11:36:30pm
- hmm...5? when? :-) [R] - Jonas - 2006-08-12 11:50:34pm
Sorry for all the delays today - it's not easy looking after 2 kids when all my mates are at a party nextdoor-but-one

and using my sister's dodgy internet connection.
My sister asked what I had to do every hour, so I showed her the ALC pages, and she liked Harrow, Harrow (the only one I had time to show her) and I pointed out the title "I'm A Whore" and she raised her eyebrows, and I played her a bit of Jordi singing, and showed her the scoreboard (and told her who wins ;))
She asked the question everyone I show does - "do you get money from it?". I should turn it into a business ;)
Thank for your patience, the first jury tomorrow may be problematic again, cos Liverpool are playing, but the rest of the last 2 days are free, and I'm gonna have a major piss-up (drunken party) on Tuesday to celebrat the end :)
- Don't worry about the delays, they were part of the fun :-) [R] - Jonas&Roger - 2006-08-12 11:28:07pm
Oooooh! Apparently I made a mistake when counting...

Instead a maximum of 108, there's still 120 points as a maximum - I forgot to count the combined non-participatory jury.
I know, Rafael can still win :) [R] - Frank - 2006-08-13 3:16:30am
- GO AVIAD!! [R] - Jonas Ovulaatiotesti - 2006-08-13 8:53:19am
A bit late, but thanks Timoteus

- Apologies, my jury was victim to alcohol. It will be up at 18:30, sources say. - Yair - 2006-08-13 5:18:11pm
- Harrow is being chased by a moth?:) [R] - Frank - 2006-08-13 5:19:17pm
- Here it is [R] - Yair - 2006-08-13 5:31:04pm
- And my comments as sent to Harrow, untouched: - Yair - 2006-08-13 5:38:09pm
1 point - A Song On Speed (song 20)
A sweet balance between hinting the song to the original singer and an independent AL, much like "My unbearable scream" from last year.
Guess: I suppose Thomas and Frank are behind two of the three Nicoles, but can't tell who wrote which really.
2 points - Yay For Free Language (song 2)
This is taking the alternative interpretation of "alternative lyrics", and executing it to perfection. Hillarious to read while the original is playing, but when I'm away from the computer, I end up singing the original song ;)
Guess: Very few can be so literate, maybe Nick D or Luke?
3 points - ALC Nation (song 9)
Someone is taking a piss at me, and doing a great job at it. I didn't like the "yob" part much though.
Guess: A reference to stripping Croatians, maybe Timoteus?
4 points - Save The Pigs (song 11)
If any song was written with my points in mind - this is it, knowing how close to my heart this issue is, and almost perfectly written. However the word 'solution' should not have been there (am I supposed to sing it in Catalan?)
No idea who might have written it.
The remaining six all got 10/10:
5 points - My Grand Prix (song 17)
By far the strongest of all singer-related entries. Touching and poetic with a hillarious twist of "transvestite slut". And there's even a mentioning of my drunken boys!
6 points - Hertz (song 27)
An AL that I would love to have written. Perfect loyalty to the story line, almost perfect note matching, and the "yuck I think it's used" is one of the funniest in this contest.
Guess: A very Jeremy-ish type of humour, but the lyrics are so much stronger than his last year's entry - so I'm not sure.
7 points - Llama (song 28)
A song I always FFed, now I listened 20+ times thanks to this new lyric. The strongest line is "Look at me my bovine" - it sounds like she's actually singing it!
Guess: Jonas is an expert in turning total crap into gems. Another guess: This will win.
8 points - Inflatable (song 6)
In the semis I almost ignored it, mostly because it's an easy song, and sex is an overdone theme. But as time passed, I found myself enjoying it more and more. And why? This is the most solid and singable entry, the structure of the original is perfectly preserved. And it's hillarious to imagine Carola singing it - not because of her personality, but because of how seriously she performs her songs, which adds it a sweet irony. An easy chiara-angel? So what.
No idea who wrote that.
10 points - La vache qui rit, c'est moi (song 24)
Got me in the first "moooo", and remained hillarious through the end (even more hillarious when you remember who sang it..). Written for those who don't know a lot of French (like me) to understand and enjoy. Still, many will probably reject it due to language, and it's their loss. I now love a song I previously despised.
Guess: Frank? Or maybe Fulingen (I don't know him at all, let alone if he speaks French..)
12 points - The Tasty Moussaka (song 16)
Tasty indeed. So tasty, that even the instrumental intermezzo sounds good all of the sudden. It's got everything a song should have - emotion, comedy (especially the "tomatoes" line), devotion, and something to learn from. I am in love.
With whom? I don't know...
Ended shared 11th and just missed out my points:
La Sophie Carle (song 23)
That "Notes are right, but the order’s wrong" line is perhaps the best in this contest - but a little too many non-fitting lines and misplaced word stretches put it under the bar.
Guess: As cute as "Ruslana" last year, so maybe Jonas.
Rafael (song 26)
Love the "I'm the joke of the Messegeboard, Barbara Dex Award" rhyme! Unfortunately "fart" is a big turnoff for me in lyrics.
Guess: Someone from the chatroom, most likely Aviad.
Harrow, Harrow (song 4)
So cute and such fun to sing at work! I still couldn't figure out how to sing the second verse, though.
No idea who wrote it.
- LOL!!!! Wow, very good guess work. Glad I confused you with my shitty entries last year :-))) [R] - Jeremy - 2006-08-13 5:48:58pm
- Yeah that'll be it... :-)) [R] - [PL]TV HERTZoD - 2006-08-13 5:51:35pm

- Thank you!!! [R] - Roger - 2006-08-13 6:26:06pm

- Well done Jonas - a song to appeal to us vegetarians - so bloody witty, perfect phrasing! [R] - David in Hull - 2006-08-13 8:10:35pm
- I think people sometimes might take my entries slightly too seriously ;-) - Jonas - 2006-08-13 8:12:48pm
Last year I was accused for campaigning against smoking... while that really was not my intention at all, and just like last year, this year my intention with my entry was not political at all, but simply to be funny :) I never thought of it as a "vegetarian message" or so... but it's nice to see that vegetarianism seems to be more popular that "non-smoke-ism" here ;))
- I thought so too - Yair - 2006-08-13 8:18:10pm
I found it too comic to be moralizing. The true vegetarian entry was The Tasty Moussaka :))
I actually made a big moussaka after Semi 1, and my family loved it so much that they didn't have meat at all, for the first time in months.
And last year I gave 12 to smoke not because I'm against smoking, but because it was so funny imagining Joe McCaul singing it.
- LOL!!! I just wanted to promote Smeg-ovens, really... :-) [R] - [PL]TV HERTZoD - 2006-08-13 8:21:28pm

Just read your comments Yair and I am very happy that you understood where I was going with La vache! See, you do know me a little bit after all! =))
And thank you thank you [PL] for your 12! But shhh! Don't tell Thomas, because I hear that he's the jealous type! =)
In a further response to everyones comments, I was inspired by this years BFC, I was remembering last years BFC with all the cheeses and the fabulous Fromagine Cheesly, and browsing through all the ESC performances at youtube I came across this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a6YvoeX-NnI
And I started thinking, this songs is so cheesy... It's like the musical equivalent of cheese!
And... if you take her eyes and push them a little to each side, and add horns, she will sooooo pass for a cow!
And while I heard her live singing, with that low "cowish" tone in her voice, and all the "nouus", "amouuur" and "louuuuu", it just came to me.
Moooo... Moooo... La vache qui rit, c'est moi...
Then I decided to write it in french just to make it stand out a little bit more, but to keep it simple, mostly because honestly my french isn't that good =)) but partly because I don't see the point of writing lyrics that no one can stand the chance of understanding. =)
I knew that "La vache" would suffer from people who are afraid of other foreign languages that aren't english, but I decided to follow my heart and hope that those of you who speak some french would get it. And you sure have! Un grand merci a vous toutes! =))
- LOL!! I don't even know where you're from to be honest! [R] - Yair - 2006-08-13 8:35:48pm
- You don't know? Oh it's quite easy! - Fulingen - 2006-08-13 8:40:31pm
I was born in Chile by chilean parents, have lived in Sweden since the age of four, and apart from swedish and spanish I can make myself understood in english, french and portuguese.
There! What's complicated about that? =))
- Should I expect 12 to Llama, then? :-) - Yair - 2006-08-13 8:44:24pm
You know in every MB contest so far, without exception, I gave 12 to someone from Sweden (or a Swedish song).
The tradition is broken now, but apparently not by much :))
- Well I only have one citizenship, and that is swedish, so technically, your tradition isn't broken. =) - Fulingen - 2006-08-13 8:49:14pm
I had to resign my chilean citizenship way back ago to receive my swedish one, some old rules that they had here in Sweden.
And well, you will see what happens to the llama, which by the way I also thought would be way higher in the scoreboard than it is right now...
- But it is, because I didn't give you 12! [R] - Yair - 2006-08-13 8:50:51pm
- PL is but a psuedonym for the swedish cook of the Muppet Show!! :) [R] - Frank - 2006-08-13 8:56:03pm

- What does "la vache qui rit" mean, anyway? [R] - Jeremy - To The Pig The Spoils - 2006-08-13 8:48:11pm

- Ohhhhhhhhhh, yes...yum! I love those little cheeses and the triangles. If I only knew ;-) [R] - Jeremy - To The Pig The Spoils - 2006-08-13 8:51:13pm

1 point - Yay For Free Language
Total nonsense and a theme used and abused ad nauseam previously, but def enough of a grower to squeeze a point.
2 points – Inflatable
Funny, well written. The best of the Swe 06 AL’s
3 points – McCauls
Had problematic song matching structure but adorable nonetheless. Took the best and the crap of 05 and meshed into a delightful mix. Got kudos for being brave in the sense of taking an obvious 05 theme and presenting it this year. My guess is that the author had it slated for last year, decided to bag it for whatever reason and then saw that he/she’s getting no where with their 06 writing thus deciding “WTF, I’ll air out the mothballs”. Whoever you are, you’re hereby noticed.
4 points – I’m No Stickler
Gets points for taking a very difficult song (I tried it myself) and matching good lyrics. Not as good as Mucky, but a thoroughly fun read
5 points - Mucky Puppy
See above, but add originality and absolute charm. Not a big fan of dogs nor of what comes out of either end of ‘em, but this little ditty managed to give me a genuine laugh and favorable look at all those wannabe proctologists in the park following around their dogs anus with a plastic bag around their fingers. The writer is either a Brit, or Yair (such the animal lover that he is)
6 points - Look At My Bum
Hilarious and witty. Got extra merit for being a well written direct finalist in such a mediocre lineup, thus making it stand out. If this would have been written by Jelena, I most certainly would love to
7 points – Llama
Brilliant! Made that absolute shit of a song so enjoyable. Plus, I loved singing to it out loud despite heavy protesting from my office folk. Screams “Made In Frank” but maybe I’m letting my adoration blind me.
8 points - Generacija 1642
Takes real genius to take a song that I never heard before (and which on its own merits I’d probably hate) and make it so much fun. The lyrics were brilliant and perfect mach to the original. I tried to do the same with He’s The Host, but I think this gem will outscore me by miles, as it should.
10 points - Really Really Gay
I loved this from the first time it popped out at me at the semis. Very few people seem to like the song itself (including myself) but these brilliant and hilarious lyrics were such a perfect match to the original while making it likeable. *The* best match of all entries to the original title, btw (‘cept Hertz, that is…nya nya nya)
12 points – Paranoia
*Obviously* fishing for my points…“That guy from Australia”…hello???...which in of itself would have put it in my top 10, but not guarantee a douze – I’m not that easy, bitch! However, the oh-so-signature Yair lyrics (I have absolute zero doubt that it’s his entry, I know my beloved MB brother but too well), and the absolutely spot-on match - not only to the rhythm of the song, but even to the very difficult Hebrew nuances - made this my undisputed douze from the get go. It’s so Chernobyl and so deserving to win. I’ll cry if it doesn’t, and if people don’t shower it with points I curse them with a thousand 2 inch dwarfs without lube (or a Silvi, in a nutshell)
The following were *VERY* close to points: MGP, ASOS, Plagiat & Moussaka (despite my loathing for food-themed entries and initial dislike for the entry)….I wish I could have given them points because they provided me a laugh and good snack ideas, even if as a delayed reaction. If it’s any consolation I predict and hope they’ll all end up with a guaranteed final slot in 07, and will be bombarded by points without needing mine.
Special comment to the 2 (or one?) other authors of “A Little Peace”. When I saw your entries I knew my own entry was screwed. Hated and loved you at the same time.
And whoever wrote No Lubricant, 2 inch, Rafael, Dwarfboy, LaVache – HUH??????????????????????????
:-)

- LOLOL @ Look At My Bum! And if you start crying I'll throw a pig at ya :) [R] - Yair - 2006-08-13 9:15:57pm
- ais quelle surprise, pas de points pour moi? Mais je comprends pas? Les americaines n'aimes pas nous les francais? [R] - La vache qui rit - 2006-08-13 9:04:23pm
- Awwwww...sorry :-) [R] - Jeremy - To The Pig The Spoils - 2006-08-13 9:05:55pm

- PARANOIAAA!!! [R] - [PL]TV HERTZoD - 2006-08-13 9:08:55pm

As sent to Harrow.
Oh the embarrassment! lol Even in semi 2 I couldn't get myself to the top 6 and I was quite bummed at how close I got. Overall I'm really quite proud, though I must say I had expected a bit more for "Bla bla" after the reactions it got. But I've done well in a Kate Ryan kind of way and I'm pleased overall. After all, last year was much more embarassing. ;o)
Okay, my final votes. There have been major changes. Especially semi 2 qualifiers suffered from much heavier competition. The final time I'll say it, my #11 is this time "I'm No Stickler" (!), which is quite shocking when compared to earlier votes. :o) But after all, the same thing happened with Bagel in 2005. Okay here I go.
Intro line: "Good evening Chernobyl, after a week of mourning in an Estonian Cowshed we are now ready to present our votes."
1 point: My Grand Prix
It has some really great elements and truly deserves a top 10 placing in the final. The mocking tone is amazing and really quite unique. I have a feeling all "Ein bisschen Frieden"s were by the same person and that person could be Thomas. But I'm not 100% sure.
2 points: Paranoia
I *loooove* "Hallelujah" and this fit the tune so well and there are some great bits about the moderators deleting the threads and thinking the song is about the reader. Great stuff.
3 points: Yay For Free Language
Possibly the best nonsense text of 2006, maybe even better than "Bla Bla". ;o)) Was the first to really make me laugh while reading and that's always good. :o) It has a mistake in the first chorus though andit's maybe not as convincing as "Slice Of Bread" was.
4 points: La Sophie Carle
Looks like your average failure AL at first, but the bits in italics towards the end are simply hilarious and make the whole song for me. :o)) Good job.
5 points: La Vache Qui Rit, C'Est Moi
"Mooo"? Whoever came up with that, is brilliant. :o)) It's a shame that those who don't speak French don't understand a word, but I do and I think it's funny so there you go. :o)
6 points: Inflatable
It lost a lot of the appeal it had at first, but I remember what I felt like first and I think this deserves my points.
7 points: The Tasty Moussaka
If this year's winner is *not* going to be to a song of that year's Eurovision, something that happened the years before, then it has got to be this one. Original, good fit, and funny on top. Good one.
8 points: Mucky Puppy
In a field with "I'm No Stickler" this simply wins it. It's funnier even though I have a harder time fitting it to the original lyric. That's my issue though, because this one fits to the written lyric, "Stickler" to the heard lyric. I decided not to substract points for it. Good song, with some hilarious lines.
10 points: Gay Teen Life
It's Javi isn't it? There aren't a lot of people who can express something that sensitive, but Javi is one of them. A very impressive AL that very much deserved to be here.
12 points: Save The Pigs
The pigs to the wonning!!! There are two slight mistakes, I think the first line of the second verse is a syllable too long and it says "some much" where it should have said "so much" but that doesn't take away that it's absolutely fab and the funniest and best-written lyric of ALC 2006. I'm here to support my fave even though I'm not in there anymore. Good job to... I think Jonas? Yair in a careless mood? Can't wait to find out. :o)
Thanks a lot for the whole contest, Dan, it was a blast! :o)
- Promotour rocked! Was sure it would sail through (plus I knew all along it was yours) :-))) [R] - Jeremy - \o/\o/Paranoia\o/\o/ - 2006-08-14 1:12:48pm
- lmao I know, a lot of people did. :P - Alexander-NL - 2006-08-14 1:17:03pm
I tried some psychological tricks but they didn't work. :P It was too difficult to hide. :o))
I even wrote to Harrow as well, that IMO, "Nose" and "Bla Bla" didn't really deserve to make the final, but that "Promotour" possibly still could have done well there. Needless to say I'm very proud of it and that it took most work out of all my entries *and* rejects. :o) Harrow will confirm this. I've sent him like twelve other versions with other towns or the same towns in different orders... lmao
- Yair in a careless mood? LOL! Good read, and it looks like you'll be happy tonight :-) [R] - Yair @work - 2006-08-14 1:17:40pm

Actually, I thought I was going to struggle to find anything wonderful in semi 3, but I've found a run of three straight 10s. And I think that one of those three is the outstanding entry of the semifinals and could just win the whole thing...
The three were Pigs/Toblerone/High - and the one was indeed Save The Pigs! It slipped a little bit on second reading however, whilst Llama and Moussaka improved with age...
- Grattis Jonas!! :) So happy for you! (eventhough I would have prefered your own "barbie and Ken" as a winner instead) :) [R] - angelos - 2006-08-14 6:34:19pm

- Jeez it's true - you never stop being surprised until you're dead! Merci ma vache! :-))) [R] - Luke - 2006-08-14 6:22:14pm
- And some comments by Corin... I mean, La vache... - Fulingen - 2006-08-14 6:40:51pm
Well well mes petits, I wasn't laughing when I decided mes votes, but sad beacuse I realised that some songs would sadly only get my sour milk, since there were so many good ones... After a third reading, I still had 14 that I thought deserved points in the final, and sadly, I had to follow my heart and pourtant, my sour milk went to Frank for his extremely well written ALC nation (11th), Yair for his clever Paranoia (12th), Aviad for his witty Rafael and my greatest mourn, mon amour Thomas and his Grand Prix (joint 13th). You all deserved points, but sadly, J'avais only 10 a donner! =(
Very well...
The moussaka made me appreciate a song that I previously didn't like that much, which gave it just the extra notch for it to get just ahead of the ALC nation. Un point!
Look at my bum made me rit from the very first line, mangez fromage et rit ma petite, donät woory about your kilograms! Deux points!
Mccauls... I could easily see The Vanilla ninjas singing these lyrics instead of the original ones, with the same sour milk expression on their faces. Trois points!
Mr Dwarfbody... This was a very personal vote. When I saw the firsts photos of Anzej from Athens, my first thought was "Mon dieux! With that beard and hair, he lookz just like a hobbit from the lordz of the ringz, thoze small dwarfpeople!" Then I forgot it, until I read these lyrics and it all came back to me. Don't know if it was the writers intention, but it still managed to get le quatre points du moi!
Everything you bake, everything you stew... These lyrics improved this song, and again, I could totally see Michael Jac... I mean, Anna sing these lyrics. Cinq points!
Ah well, flattery will get you very far, even avec la vache! Drink Grappa/petrol et rit! Six points.
Sept points. Hmmf! I'm insulted! the cheek! How dare someone take what must be le most awful song entered in le ESC since Suisse 2004 and give it so clever lyrics that it becomes superbe? Mais non! Non je dis! Have you any idea how embarrased Fulingen was when one day at work he suddenly discovered that his colleagues where staring at him beacuse he was humming "llama llama llama got your wool on my mind..." Mais non! I spit back at vous madame! But Fulingen forced me to give vous some points, alors, sept points and no more!
8 points... Again, Fulingen remembered once in his teens, he took a ride in a yugoslavian car that a friend of his had just bought, and when looking through the little car, it was filled with junk here and there. No used condoms or dead doves, but a plastic chicken and one vache-horn... Ah, les souvenirs...
Alors, there were two songs battling it out for le Chevre qualite superieur plusquemparfait. Gay-teen life, which is a sad theme but cleverly written and we both hope it will get enough points to get in the top 10, and Inflatable, la chanson interprete pour ma cousine La vache qui Vråla, Carola.
Fulingen wants me to say that Vråla is a word suedois, and means yell, scream, in ana almost hysterical tone.
Well, what could I say, I just had to give le douze a ma cousine, non? Nous les vaches must stick together against les pigs and les llamas, right? Alors, it was settled.
Dix points a une chanson vraiment fabuleux,
et le chevre c'est pour ma cousine Carola, La vache qui vråla.
Mooooo!
- LOL!! Clever comments from a clever lyricist! :) [R] - Frank - 2006-08-14 6:56:43pm
- Thank you Fulingen, my 4th 10 pointer! Congrats on a top 10 finish!! [R] - David in Hull - 2006-08-14 7:59:25pm
I just got back from Boston and learned that I scored another 12 points!

Great, great, great!!!
2) A song on speed
I fell from my chair and had a stomacheache because of the continuous laughing
3) He's the host
Great, great, great
4) ALC nation
Nobody noticed how good this fits in the rythm and melody?
5) Gay teen life
Beautiful lyrics
I can't say I recognized myself a lot in the final results, but at least my Mucky Puppy knew a happy end and the author qualifies for next year automatically. Congratulations!!!

Well, with Sense Tu now unofficially retired from ALC (who would dare?), here's what you could have won...

This was incredibly close to being one of my entries this year, but when Sense Tu got quickly angel-chiara'ed, I figured there was no way that at least one of them wouldn't be using the same theme, probably better. Pity really, because I'm still totally in love with the opening line:
SERVING FOOD
"Welcome to the Andorra La Vella Café"
That's what I used to say
Waiting tables, earning good pay
Exercising by walking from table to table
With those overfilled plates
Then he walked into my life
Said "You should be a lingerie model so stop serving food!"
Serving food, serving food
Was my passion, my joy, my vocation
And serving food, serving food
Let me grow to the size of my nation
Oh, serving food, serving food!
And my sexy black underwear
Helped me carry it everywhere
And my life was without a care,
Sneaking a mouthful whenever I wanted that wonderful food
But now those days have gone
Felt like I was the chosen one
When I signed all the contracts that he laid before me
To promote Wonderbra
Not quenched my appetite!
I'm still eating just like UN CAVALL
With the money I'm earning now I'm no longer serving food!
Serving food, serving food
Was my passion, my joy, my vocation
And serving food, serving food
Let me grow to the size of my nation
Oh, serving food, serving food!
And my sexy black underwear
Helped me carry it everywhere
And my life was without a care,
Sneaking a mouthful whenever I wanted that wonderful food
Serving food, serving food
Is now part of my past and I've gotta sing
Eating food, eating food
Is my present, my future and everything
Give me food, give me food
Serve it up and I'll wolf it down
I could eat this entire town
And my figure won't look any different because of the days when I ate all my old café's food!
Give me food, give me food, give me food!
- Why you didn't send it in is beyond me [R] - [PL]TV HERTZoD - 2006-08-14 7:30:59pm
- Shamefully, I thought Pasema was a better bet! :-) [R] - Nick D. - 2006-08-14 7:32:06pm
- *I* liked Pasema! [R] - carly hungers for brains - 2006-08-14 7:35:11pm
- :-)))))) [R] - dave - 2006-08-14 7:31:02pm
- ROFL! But "Shag little cyclist" is still your best :)) [R] - Yair - 2006-08-14 7:33:26pm
- Indeed, and I may well be looking to you for subject-inspiration next summer! [R] - Nick D. - 2006-08-14 7:35:36pm
- And I was thinking vice versa. *wink* :-) [R] - Yair - 2006-08-14 7:40:26pm
- Very good one!!. [R] - Frank - 2006-08-14 7:37:08pm
- LOLOLOL!!!!! Love it!!!! Pity :-( [R] - Jeremy - \o/\o/Pigs\o/\o/ - 2006-08-14 7:37:51pm
- I guess that I should confess... - Jonas - 2006-08-14 8:09:48pm
...that I sent Harrow "Save the pigs" long before the lyric was actually finished :) I thought it'd be a good diea to keep other AL's to the same song out of the way, hehe, so I sent just half of the song first, and then updated it :) Seems like it was wise, cause this could have been a dangerous contender :)
- Very cunning....and clever.Just for that I hereby give you my 11 points :-)) [R] - Jeremy - \o/\o/Pigs\o/\o/ - 2006-08-14 8:19:10pm
- LOL! Don't tell me that you "dq" this one from your own ALC-selection?? [R] - angelos - 2006-08-14 8:10:52pm
- *doesn't tell him* - Nick D. - 2006-08-14 8:21:46pm
I think I took angel-chiara a bit too seriously. As well as this, I dq'ed a pretty good Sweden '06 and Finland '06 which I now believe wouldn't have suffered.
Still, it's a lesson well learned for next year in EL PIGSTY! :-)
Where can I see the non prticipant votes - the link doesn't work for me - juliejWHAMBAMBOOM!!!! - 2006-08-14 7:50:52pm
