Oh, gee!

Based on Poland 2008 - For Life

I had no choice, I was as pale as pale can be.
I used my voice, but noone saw me.
A trailer park, was where I used to dream away.
There in the dark, I thought that I would stay.
And then I thought up my plan to rise to fame;
with tons of make-up and then I, I'd change my name.

I spray my tan on each day
covering each nook and cranny.
I sand my face and paint
with rollers and a brush.
Show some cleavage, too
and a tooth or two.
Oh, gee!

My given name, "Tamara", does not suit me well.
My parents' blame. My name must sell!
So in a book I found a name from Egypt's land.
I found the look, and I knew they would see me.

"Oh, gee!"
